Research Interests

  • Plankton physiology and ecology
  • Ocean changes (ocean acidification, global warming, trace metals)
  • Role of phytoplankton in carbon cycling and its response to environmental changes
  • Effectiveness and ecological impacts of ocean alkalinity enhancement as a method to remove atmospheric COâ‚‚
