Information to all Ocean Oxygen News users

When the Ocean Oxygen News was created nearly 8 years ago, the aim was to provide a good overview of research, political developments and societal debates on ocean deoxygenation and related topics. Given our limited resources and the large amount of information and news available, we can no longer meet our initial goal. Consequently, we have unfortunately decided to close this news website. However, there still is a large scientific ocean oxygen community out there, and the is intensely active in continuing to make the importance of ocean deoxygenation visible on all levels.

GO2NE is an IOC-UNESCO expert working group concerned with declining oxygen in the world’s ocean and coastal waters, in coordination with the programme of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
