Research Focus
- Ecology and environmental tolerances of diatoms in a changing Arctic Ocean.
- Assessing the impact of parasitic infection of diatoms by mycoplankton on productivity, biochemical composition and subsequently on the nutritional quality of organic matter.
- Search for biochemical indicators to assess functional changes in primary producers.
