Virtual Career Day - March 27, 2025
The Virtual Career Day "Transition Possible" was a great success! The event provided an inspiring and informative platform for postdocs exploring career opportunities beyond academia.
Dr. Katerina Falk's keynote set the stage by highlighting how researchers can leverage their academic strengths in industry. Engaging panel discussions with industry representatives and former postdocs offered valuable insights into different career paths. Participants also had the opportunity to receive guidance from Helmholtz career counselors and develop essential skills in hands-on workshops.
With representatives from leading international companies across diverse sectors鈥攔anging from AI and energy to consulting, pharma, and science management鈥攖he event was an excellent networking opportunity. The interactive discussions and skill-building sessions empowered postdocs and early-career researchers to confidently take the next steps in their careers.
