ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ

As part of Kiel Munition Clearance Week 2025, there will be an open discussion about old munitions in the sea. The first part of the event will see the presentation of the MUNIMAR Centre of Excellence  for the Management of Munitions in the Marine Environment in Schleswig-Holstein, which unites scientific, political and business expertise. It was established last year by ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ, the Ministry of Environment, and the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Industry and Commerce. 

In the second part, experts from the fields of politics, journalism, science, environmental protection and business will discuss how to communicate the issue of munitions contamination effectively, without concealing risks or resorting to fear-based narratives.

The event will be held in German.
