WP1: Assessment of pollution sources, distribution and impacts in Arctic ecosystems
Determine the impact of the plastisphere antibiotic resistome (i.e., microbial diversity, genetic potential, and functional expression) and the role emergent pollutants (e.g., microplastics) play as a vector contributing to the spreading of antibiotic resistance across the European Arctic Gateway.
Examine the effect of Atlantification on the plastisphere antibiotic resistome.
